my attachment to klinik keluarga

yup, i got attached to a doctor, a master student..
but what i can tell about her is that, she is SUPER NICE to the patient
imagine today, a day where the result for master student to come out
she's nervous
but yet, she tried her best in managing the patients, listen to their problems, n speak nicely with them
she always said, "sorry ya uncle, my hand is quite cold today," whenever she touched the patients
yes, i know she's nervous, n she did tell me that she is
but once patients enter the room, she acted professionally
n i can see that the patients love her
they said thanks multiple times
they smile
they respect her

I want to be a doctor like her, like my Prof Hany, n my Prof Jamy.... XD

Rheumatic fever

usu due to grp A B-haemolytic streptococcal inf.

it cos permanent damage to the heart valve..

to diagnose, first confirm whether the inf is d2 the streptococcal inf...

- +ve throat swab

- ASOT (anti-streptococcal antibody titre) high

- rapid streptococcal antigen test

- recent scarlet fever

then, Jones Criteria.. 2majors or 1major + 1minor criteria

major criteria

- carditis

- arthritis

- subcutaneous nodules (at extensor parts of jts n spine)

- erythema marginatum (geographical, raised edges, clear centre)

- Sydenham chorea

minor criteria

- fever

- arthalgia

- prolong PR interval (in ECG)

- Increase ESR or CRP

- previous rheumatic fever

i ve made a mistake today

not big, but enough to make me nervous n shiver thinking about it

i missed 5 cm.. it is not so much, but for me, it is..

it makes a normocephalus suddenly become hydrocephalus

it makes a normal brain development suddenly being diagnosed has cerebellar tumour (he got horizontal nystagmus as well)...

aigoo... i m dead meat tomorrow...
